1:24 Scale Model Display Light Stand

Introduction 

This Display Stand is the larger scale version of the Layered Car Model display stand, but offers a solid base to support displaying larger, non layered models of standard 1:24 scale models. 

This Display Stand light allows for 2 different Back Wall options as well as 2 different Top Light options, all are fully interchangeable.  Currently there are 4 different configuration you can make up using the available parts. 

The Parts

The print profile offers all available parts, please note you will only be printing 4 of the 7 plates. 

• Print Plate 1
• Choose Plate 2 or Plate 3 as the Back Plate Option
• Choose Plate 4 or Plate 5 as the Top Option 
• If you chose Plate 4, you will print Plate 6 for the Diffuser 
• If you chose plate 5, you will print Plate 7 for the Diffuser

Assembly

The assembly is very straightforward, all pieces press together with no special fasteners required. 

1. Press in the LED light into the Top Plate light recess, making sure the cable is pointed towards the cable guide/recess *(the fit should be snug, but if the lamp is loose, use the provided double-sided adhesive in the LED lamp kit pack)
2. Press the Top Plate onto the Back Plate while aligning the cable into the center cable cutout. The fit should be snug, but you risk breaking the studs if not careful. If this happens, you can also resort to using some glue to hold everything in place. 
3. Carefully fit the Top/Back assembly onto the pegs of the bottom plate, firmly pressing everything in place. 
4. Press the wire into the cable guide on the back side of the assembly
5. Finish by installing the Light diffuser over the light. * The rectangular top plate has an inner and outer light diffuser. The inner diffuser can be left out if you want the light to shine brighter. 

You are all set and ready to enjoy your new light/display stand! Feel free to experiment printing the different pieces in different materials/color for a customized look! Post pictures of your setup once complete to show it off!
