Magnetic Yarn Holder
Print Profile(2)

Description
This magnetic yarn holder rotates smoothly, stays in place while you use it even if it's pretty light and it's designed to be printed fast and to use the bare minimun and easy to source non-3d printed parts.
It fits in one plate if you have a A1/P1S/P1P/X1C or in two if you have a A1 Mini. I kept it small to be able to print it on any printer.
If you need to edit anything there is a .f3d file in the Raw Model Files download.
ATTENTION! be careful when you remove the print from the plate, the yarn holder piece could break easily. Remove it by detaching the base and not by pulling the shaft!
Assembly Instruction
- glue the 10x3 magnet in the designated hole

- screw the self-tapping screw on pilot hole on the top of the yarn holder.

- Once the glue on the magnet is dry, assemble together the base and the shaft. there is a really loose allowance between the pieces to minimize the risk of them not fitting together, i strongly suggest to glue them so they won't come apart as you crochet/knit

Bill of Materials notes:
If you want to use a different sized screw you will probably need to resize the hole diameter and/or depth. You can do it in the slicer adding another hole on top of it or editing the .f3d file available in the Raw Model Files download. Also, the screw needs to be attracted to the magnet, and it would be better to pick one with a button head cap. I cannot guarantee a flat headed screw will make the piece rotate as smoothly.
You can also use different sized magnet, just make sure is is strong enough. You will also need to resize the hole obviously.
