Outdoor Container - Robust and Waterproof

A robust outdoor storage container with an o-ring sealing.

I wanted it to be an easy print without a lot of support material, so the oring geometry is not perfect, but with my tests at home it worked quite well. When you tighten it enough it kept dry inside. 

Please be realistic. This is not a container you take with you when you go diving. This container is meant to keep your stuff dry when you go on a typical outdoor adventure. (Hiking, Biking, Camping, Skiing etc.)

What else do you need.

60 mm x 1,5 mm O- Ring

You can use the container without an O-ring but it will not be watertight. (Interesting if you want to scale it)

Due to the 1.5 mm O-Ring geometry scaling is not recommended. Of course you can scale it, but the O-Ring geometry will not fit anymore.

If this will reach enough interest i will probably add a few sizes.

~ 70 mm x 130 mm (diameter x height)

Since there is so much interest in this model i will upload more sizes in the upcoming weeks.

• Lid option with 20 mm compass integration available
• Lid for Strap (30 mm wide)

Customizable Ring

I uploaded a blank STEP file for the ring. You can download the STEP file, open it in the CAD programm of your choice and add your name or logo to it and make your own custom version. I would love to see pictures of you customized rings.
