Description
Full upper applianceThe complete removable denture, also known as a "full denture", is used to replace all the teeth (14 in total) of a dental arch (upper or lower jaw). In the upper jaw, it rests on both the gum and the palate. In the lower jaw, it rests on a large part of the gum. The complete denture holds in place in the mouth by the suction effect created by the saliva that accumulates between the denture and the gum. There are two types of bases:
