Description

This is a small square frame originally designed for cross stitch on perforated paper, but can be used to frame anything that is square. Two sizes are provided: one for a 6" object with a 5.5" visible / working area, and one for a 3.5" card with 3" visible / working area. The printed model in the photo is the 3" version. Both frames have a border width of 20mm.

This frame is open in the back, so you can stitch in place. The front and back are friction fit into place, so it's important to have a well tuned printer in order for them to fit together smoothly. Supports are used for the front piece. The included Bambu Studio profile has an increased support  / object xy distance to 1mm in order to keep the supports well away from the crush ribs which hold the two pices together. If you are using another slicer please make sure to adjust this setting so the ribs don't end up too large.

To use the frame simply place the perf paper inside the lip of the top piece and gently press the back into place.
