Description

A wet palette is a tool designed to keep your paint hydrated which makes them last longer during your marathon painting sessions. The wet palette will also preserve your custom paint mixes preserving them far longer than a standard dry palette ever will. My wet palette usually lasts 3-4 days before I have to toss out the parchment paper.

I use a Sistema 450ml sandwich container because it's a sealed system. In addition the clips are on the container side, not the lid side. The palette needs a 128 mm² section of absorbent paper towel & parchment (baking) paper. The pics better explain how the system works.

The template is 128 mm², a perfect size to cut out the towels & parchment papers needed. I generally make 4 towels & 8 parchment papers at a time. They are rolled up, like a spliff ;) , and shoved in a desk organizer.

Is this template overkill? You bet. However, I'm a novice at 3D printing & model painting. This was excellent practice for me.
