Description

ESP32 Supermini Enclosure with/without DHT22 Sensor

 I need a thermometer and a hydrometer for my room, so I designed easily assembled enclosure. ESP32 supermini has wifi connectivity, which matches my purpose.  I also designed without DHT sensor version for use as an ESP32 enclosure only. 

 

Design Concept

  • Snap-fit without screws or glue
  • Easy assembly and disassembly for development
  • ESP32 supermini with pin headers (easy wiring)
  • Can be rebooted or started from outside the enclosure
  • 0.96” OLED display secured without adhesive
  • Two tact switches available
  • Palm-sized
  • Easy color variation (no AMS required)
  • Artistic appearance (if successful)

 

Programing and Wiring

 You can program it as you like and use tact switches as you like. Wire keeping in mind that there is not enough space in the enclosure to run long wires. There is not enough space for Oled connections, so use a female pin header on the wiring side bent at right angles and insulated with heat-shrink tubing.

 

 

2025/03/26

  When I bought a 0.96” OLED display from aliexpress.com, I received one that was a different size than the previous OLED. So I added another front face for the OLED.
