Description
I'm not a fan of needles and can just about tolerate the one that comes with the Mounjaro pen. Getting the 5th dose from it with an insulin needle is not my idea of fun, hence we have this.
Included 3mf file uses supports, once printed remove the tiny and easy to remove support from the bottom of the plunger “arm”.
Insert the long arm into the cap and push to clip into place, it should fit perfectly and not come apart.
Use (at your own risk etc etc)
Peel off the label to reveal a break point in the pen
Break the pen in half by pulling and slightly bending, I've done a few now and they come apart easy enough. Remove the old plunger bit.
Insert the round part of the printed model into the end, note the locating cutouts:
Insert the assembled plunger through and into the base. Now ready to use. Flick the air, prime the needle, jab in your leg.
Note:
The liquid remaining after 4 doses from experience is 0.8ml (normal dose is 0.6ml). If you have a 12.5mg pen this would mean the last dose using this is 16.67mg. If you are using a 15mg pen, it would be 20mg. These numbers are higher than your provider would advise. Please use with caution.
