turned out very nice. we have one heavy book(coding book) just need another one to balance it out

Hey, I do hope she likes it. Mine love it. some books are so big that it migth be a bit unstable but it still work, at least to my wife it did. anyways hope it works for yours!

lazy susan base works nicely. but the entire unit has to be glued together; absolutely no use of shaped latching elements to provide integral stability.

Hey, I'm glad the lazy Susan base worked! Sorry the pieces didn't latch together. Yeah, there's a lot that could be better, I was just going for a quick fix and a minimum viable design. The one I printed has been working great, no problems. I'll redesign it later, but probably ditch the latches—maybe I will change the geometry and tighten up the tolerances. if you have any specific sugestion hit me up.
