3D Printed Steam 22mm Tail Rudder Rod Fixing Ring (MK5505B Alternative)
Since the Steam 22mm Tail Rudder Rod Fixing Ring (MK5505B) is out of stock, I’ve created a 3D-printed replacement. There are two versions available:
TPU Version – Flexible and installs like the original.
Thicker version added as TPU tip was to flexible.
- Solid Body Version – More rigid and must be slid onto the tail boom (tail removal required for installation).
- Notch-Fit Version – Designed with a notch and secured using an M2.5 x 5mm screw, eliminating the need for TPU or tail removal. (Not as secure as the TPU version.)
The design uses an M2.5 x 5mm Hex Head for a secure fit
