My wife showed me a picture of a new storage thing for all her new markers (she filled up the other one that I made for her). She liked it but it was all made of plywood. While I could make it from plywood, designing it and printing it was much easier 😁. She asked for it to be thick like the plywood because she liked the look.

The inside walls of the individual bins are half the thickness of the outside walls for the finished set to have thick inside walls.

I designed it to be modular in case we needed to add more bins (we did).

There are two corner bins, one for the top left and bottom right and the other for top right and bottom left. If you just wanted four bins, print two of each corner and four connectors. I would start with those and then you can build it out further.

The bins are working very well and my wife is happy 👍🏼.

They do use a good amount of filament, I reduced the walls and infill as much as I felt I could without it being weak. I printed them in Wood PLA and it worked very well.

If you found this model useful or fun to print and feel like supporting my work, you can buy me a coffee here:

The coffee helps keep me awake long enough to design more stuff like this.
While you’re here, feel free to check out my other models too. No pressure — but every bit helps.
