Description
I was given a small lab oven that I wanted to use for filament drying so made this small fan holder to git it some air flow. It inserts into the top port that many lab ovens have for inserting a temperature probe. The tube is 12mm in diameter and has some risers to leave some room for airflow and so a thermocouple can still be inserted.
You'll obviously need to print using a filament that will stand up to the temperature you're using, I used ASA. I've included parts for a no-solder solution from the Bambu store although personally I soldered the fan directly to the cable of a 5V USB power supply. Also note the screws in the photo are M2.5 x 20mm screws that I had on hand, 16mm screws in the BOM would be a better length. There is a very small void in the screw area to get things to fit but it doesn't have any functional effect and ends up hidden by the screw.
