Description
Adds a simple manual filament changing station to the top of the Z-axis on the A1 Mini.
The lid seals tightly and there is an desiccant bin to insert into the top cover.
3-hole version was designed to retain function of the original A1 Mini spool holder and PTFE guide.
You can have 3 filaments loaded from dry boxes and load the 4th filament onto the external spool holder for rapid switching of filaments.
4-hole version is included on a separate plate.
M6 and M10 versions are included in separate print profiles.
PC4-M10 is recommended, as you can pass the entire tube through it to avoid filament rubbing inside of the connector.
Test prints done in PLA and PETG.
Connectors can be threaded in by hand, or use a 10mm wrench.
This is a manual changing station, you will still need to manually pull back and feed the filament, there is no automation.
Required parts:
-6 (or 8) PC4 M6 connectors
-6 (or 8) lengths of PTFE tubing
