Description

8" x 8mm spike with 16mm head. Great for landscaping and holding down landscape weed cloth or fabric. I was also able to use it for the plastic landscape edging too.

I used a .8 mm nozzle for this but you could probably do .4 just as easy just time wise will be longer. Change parameters as you see fit. Make sure the head area is pretty solid though, if you use a hammer you might break off some of it, try to press with hands and if hammering be gentle and aim for the flatter side/center.

I used PLA as it is supposedly more environmental than other materials although it won't break down most likely for a long long long time despite being “compost-able” (industrially compost-able more like it)

Edit: Added a fillet at the head to reduce the stress there hopefully that should help the head not break when tapping or pushing it down.
