I needed to power my Ring Intercom, which is powered only by its battery.

So, since there aren't many projects and the existing ones aren't very functional, I started reproducing the Ring Intercom battery, inserting a lithium-ion battery charging circuit with a Type-C USB-C connector (TC4056 5V 1A) easily available on Amazon or AliExpress.

This photo shows the positioning of the board and the connections to be made. Please ensure you follow the correct connections; the + goes to the hole near the corner of the battery.

Here's how the battery looks once closed.

Here you see a comparison between the original and the fictitious battery.

Once connected with a USB-C cable to a cell phone charger, the Ring Intercom is powered without needing to charge any battery.

I used PLA filament for this project; I also recommend choosing PETG filament.
