Mount for iProda 15.6" Mobile Monitor on Dell Precision 7560

Please note that the notebook I used has the following specifications:

Dell Precision 7560, i7 from 2022.

Filament used = BambuLab PLA Basic.

Print profile = 0.12mm Fine.

Printer used = BambuLab A1 Mini.

To attach the iProda mobile monitor to my laptop, I developed this small mount.

The hole pattern for attaching the monitor is 74.5mm x 74.5mm.

Thus, any monitor with this hole pattern can be attached. Of course, please check whether the distance to the laptop monitor needs to be increased and the two mounts simply need to be extended accordingly.

The individual parts are simply plugged together, but can of course also be glued.

The advantage of unglued components is clearly that the mount can be disassembled and the individual parts take up little space when disassembled. In my case, the mount also fits into my laptop bag.

Both connecting pieces are screwed together with a standard M6x40mm countersunk screw and the corresponding M6 nut (5mm thick).

If desired, you can also use a thumb screw, so no Allen key is needed for tightening.

The through-holes in the mount are suitable for M4 screws.

For fastening, I used these thumb screws with M4x10 thread.

The mount, which is attached to the laptop monitor, contains a recess that is optimized so that it does not affect the image when using the camera. Furthermore, the laptop's built-in ambient light sensor is not covered, and the camera can automatically adjust the brightness. The two microphones are also not covered, which allows for trouble-free use in video meetings.

To prevent the laptop monitor from flipping backwards due to the additional weight, I have also developed the following two supports.

These support the laptop monitor, simultaneously raising and tilting the laptop, resulting in more comfortable working.

You can download these supports here.
