Join

A simple box in the shape of a carrot with a lid included. The lid has a snug fit and won't fall off.

Only the lid will require the AMS. I have the box separated into 2 separate parts, so that it prints faster. Slide the green leafy part down onto the orange carrot box. The two parts should slide in with some gentle force if aligned straight, try not to slide it in at an angle. Optional: use glue if the 2 parts seem loose.

No Supports required.

could you tell me how you added the words? I added “text” in Bambu slicer and can’t get it to go flush. I used the part to raise or lower it and everything and it either sticks out above the rest of the lid which causes printing errors or the orange prints first layer and then the word starts printing second layer so it’s very faint

turned out super cute. agree with other comments that it is very difficult to line up the two pieces for the bottom. I ended up taking a nail file and making the grooves a little more defined so that they would match up well enough and then used super glue to secure. a little troublesome, but worth the effort

In general, the print looks very good. my main issues are with how the parts fit together. The two pieces that are supposed to slide together or be glued do not line up. I tried to glue as well but still difficult. It would have been much better if it was just a flat (curved) surface to allow glue. Also, the top is difficult to remove from the base. I made this for my 4 year olds Easter basket and I’m not sure that he will be able to remove the top by himself.

the only issue is hard to assemble the bottom parts - a little bit misaligned. Took me an hour to put them together. Would rather print the bottom part with AMS. An alternative model that both bottom and top parts using AMS will be better. I don’t see the point to print the bottom parts separately since need AMS for top part anyway. Maybe saves materials but doesn’t worth the time for assembly.
