Violin Bow Fidget Trainer–A Portable Practice Tool
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a 3D model of the grip section of a violin bow, faithfully replicating the dimensions and feel of the area where the bow is held. It serves as a practical tool for improving bow hold technique and strengthening hand muscles.
The main motivation behind this design is portability—since carrying a full bow everywhere isn’t always convenient, this compact grip trainer fits easily in a backpack. I can also keep multiple units in different places, making it easy to practice anytime.
Compared to using a pencil for grip exercises, this offers a much more realistic approximation, helping violinists maintain proper hand positioning even when they don’t have their bow with them.
