Print in place box 40 x 60 mm - extra features - Storage

Hinged box:

This is a great storage solution for small things. A hinged box print in place, in 1 piece. There are 2 print profiles, 1 for the box and 1 for the hinged insert tray.

It's not mandatory to print the hinged insert tray, it's an option to complete the box.

The box has a closing mechanism and clicks the bottom and top part together.

Dimensions for the box:

• Width: 40 mm
• Height: 17 mm for top and bottom, 34 mm in total when closed
• Length: 60 mm

Guide for the box:

• Select the print profile for the box
• When you printed the box, please let it cool down completely
• Gently start moving the lid towards the bottom part to start movement
• The hinges are very strong and you can open and close the box hundreds of times without any problem

Assembly guide for the hinged insert tray:

• Select and print the print-profile for the ‘hinged insert tray’. The parts will be printed by object
• Check the picture below for assembly
• Check the 2 rear swing arms, there is a right and left one. The front arms are the same. Just gently click them in place.
• I used a piece of double sided tape to hold the tray to the box

Print time and used material:

For the box:

• Print time: 40 minutes
• PLA filament, approximately 25gr

For the hinged isert tray:

• Print time: 30 minutes
• PLA filament, approximately 11gr
