D MOCKUP – UNIVERSAL BATTERY STORAGE

Universal small battery storage container in the shape of a D-type battery. This model natively supports over 15 different small battery types (not counting it's universal storage capability). The precise D-size dimensions allow you to store this mockup in large battery holders.

All CR XXXX holders show the maximum battery height, so you can freely mix different sizes in one holder — e.g., CR2032, CR2025, CR2016 — if your inner perfectionist doesn't mind 😉.

POST-PROCESSING & ASSEMBLY (CR XXXX types – GLUE REQUIRED)

Post-processing:

The only finishing step needed is removing the inner brim around the “UP” text and model. The easiest method is to use a precision modeling knife.
Optional: You can print it without the inner brim, but it might reduce text clarity and quality.

Assembly (glued versions CR XXXX only):

• Make sure the “UP” arrow is pointing in the correct direction.
• Apply glue (any plastic-compatible adhesive) to the hole in the base and on the mating surfaces.
• Press the parts together. Voilà, you're done!

⚠️ DISCLAIMER ⚠️

I have personally tested the following battery sizes with real batteries to ensure proper fit and tolerances:
AAA, AAAA, A27, LR41, LR44, LR43, CR2032, CR2025, CR2450.
The remaining battery holders are based on standardized dimensions, inferred tolerances from tested sizes, and should fit correctly. However, if you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out. I can adjust some tolerances — feedback is always appreciated!

Keep in mind: some batteries (especially cheaper brands) may deviate from standard specs, which might cause fitting issues.

The outer brim is not neccessary for threaded part but i got better quality using it. The same story goes with hardcore infil percentages (the 35% of honeycomb infill is the first that repetitivley didn't produce failed prints, but it's very “conservative”. This is definitley not the fastest nor the most optimized approach but it shoud work most of the time.
