With this kit you'll be able to build a best friend crab in no time!
Crab Friend is a project that took its inspiration from a 2024 Makerworld contest for Mecha's, for which at the time I wasn't skilled enough to model it. Now that I can do a couple of things here and there, I decided to give it a try!
The two print profiles give you either:
🔒🦀 Ready Crab Kit - A ready to assemble pre-picked parts kit (for the model seen on pictures)
🔧🦀 Crab Framework - Complete kit with many part variants for ultimate customization!
Before printing you need to know that:
⚙️ Filament should be calibrated beforehand to avoid clearance issues
🔒 Buckles are one way only - don't try pulling them apart or they might break
❌ Since the model has quite a lot overhangs, better avoid Silk Filaments (or at least avoid it for anyting with threads/buckles)
💧 I'd reccoment gluing the eyes to the face block
