The handle on my Siemens vacuum cleaner broke, but otherwise the device still worked perfectly. Too bad to throw away, I thought, and I designed a new handle:
First, of course, the old handle must be sawn flush on both sides and then the printed part is inserted. To do this, open the vacuum cleaner lid, carefully press the hinge at the front together and remove the lid. Then insert the handle.
To achieve better stability, I drilled a hole from the side of the housing on the vacuum cleaner to the handle and screwed in a 40mm long screw (a screw for woodworking). This makes the handle extremely secure.
Alternatively, the handle could also be attached with adhesive instead of the screw.
Have fun repairing!
