Description
This small box requires no supports, assembly, or additional parts.
It prints in a single piece and requires no post-processing.
The closure latch offers a firm pressure to ensure the box remains closed even when transported or handled. Should you desire a version with easier opening and closing, please comment!
The box measures: 100 mm x 43 mm x 13 mm
To ensure precise dimensional tolerances, I recommend printing with a layer height of 0.16 mm, but I have also printed successfully at 0.2 mm.
PLA is recommended for printing as the hinge has no supports and thus the bridging sections need to be easily printable. I have not yet tried PETG, but in my opinion, it will be more challenging to achieve such a smooth hinge with materials more difficult to bridge.
