Filament Spool Rack
Print Profile(15)

Description
This is a modular shelving system for filament spools. The system is optimized for the following attributes:
- economical, using only 85 grams of filament per rack (saves money)
- yet robust, thanks to optimized shaping and force distribution throughout the shelf
- designed for loose spools and boxes (Bambu Lab spools)
- handle recesses for easy unloading
- modular and entirely interlocking (no screws)
Updates
NEW as of April 14, 2025: Print profile V2.1 less tight (only if assembly with V2 is jammed). The interlocking connection may prove too tight on certain printers, hence this print profile offers more play in the joint. However, try print profile V2 first. If your print result is too tight during assembly, use print profile V2.1 less tight.
NEW as of April 4, 2025: optional spacer for the bottom shelf

Boost Me (for free)
If you find this shelf useful, I would greatly appreciate a small token of appreciation in the form of a free boost. Thank you.
The internal dimensions of a single rack are 227 x 216 x 76 mm (width x depth x height). A single rack is already stable, but stability increases in combination. The racks are stacked and interlock. The lid is simply placed on the top rack. The racks can be connected laterally with two small connectors (also printed). No screws are required.
An assembled shelf can be carefully disassembled, but this should be avoided. To separate stacked racks, carefully pull straight upwards in each corner one after another. Laterally connected racks can be easily separated by holding one down and pushing the other upwards along the side wall. The connectors will then be released.
Matching Box for Increased Organization
For storing printer accessories, this matching box, tailored to the rack, may prove useful.
