Boost Me (for free)

I hope you enjoy this design as much as I did!  If you like it, please rate / like / boost so I can keep making more things!

The ultimate coffee bar organizer!  I tried a few different designs I found on MakerWorld, but didn't love them so made my own!

My main complaints were sharp edges / corners, unrefined designs, and cleanability.  Mine has a removable drip tray so you don't need to unpack the whole thing and rinse it off!

My model features:

  • Space for:
    • 54mm Breville Portafilter (should work with bottomless options too, but didn't have one to test)
    • 54mm Tamper
    • 54mm Funnel
    • “WISSXOER” WDT Needle Tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BH8MRB2Z)
  • All outer corners are soft and rounded; cavities are tapered so they are easier to wipe out
  • Removable drip tray under portafilter (I printed in TPU, but you can also use PLA)
  • Removable knock box + separate knock box bumper pad (I printed this in TPU too so it was slightly rubberized, but can use PLA)

Current design is for the Breville Bambino / Bambino Plus / Barista style 54mm Portafilter, but I can tweak to adapt to other sizes if I receive the right dimensions (maximum diameter of top of portafilter to size outer ring, maximum diameter of the bottom part of the portafilter to size ring it sits into, and handle width close to portafilter to confirm fit into slot)

I used Bambu Lab Marble PLA for everything except the drip tray and knock box bumper

For those parts, I used TPU for AMS in Gray

Has anybody tried this with a 51mm portafilter?

not sure if it will fit. can you share the outer diameter of your portafilter and also the outer diameter of the top where the latching points are? you might be better off just scaling this down to 96% or something in Bambu studio.

It printed flawlessly however some parts should've been hollow to conserve filament

Thanks! Which area would you specifically want to see hollow? This was one of my earlier designs but I do tend to overbuild tamping stations due to the force of tamping!
