Description

Simple solution for broken iphone cable.

Better to print TPU, but PLA also works good.

Layer height - 0.08

I used B6000 glue for phone screens, like this

Saved a bunch of cables. Printed great in Petg hf. to really make a permanent fix I ran a bead of hot glue down the open slot.

Check adhesion settings, also decrease printing speed, it worked for me many times 😉

This is a technical issue with settings, adhesion etc, not a model issue. Also try to add supports

why not make it one solid piece, then add a pause in the slicer at the top of the opening. then insert the cord into the part, secure the cord in place with tape and then resume the program. then when the program is done you can slide the protecter up the cord to the end and add a drop of glue to secure it.

Thanks, good idea. There can be a problem with supports and bad adhesion, but I will try.
