Description

*Smaller Opening - Cat can still enter and exit but its a smaller print.

 

This was my fix to an irritating issue of mine.

My cat comes in and out of the room throughout the night to go to the littlerbox or get food / water.

Every time she walks past, she rubs against the door making a creeking sound which can be annoying.
She may also rub against it and accidentally close the door, then she meows until i let her out of the room.

 

This bar slides over the door and slots into the door latch. 
It allows a ~8in opening on the door, while keeping the door from moving at all.

It is SUPER easy to put on and take off.



This was designed for a standard interior door with a ~35/36mm width.

Printed this to allow my cat to have access to his food and water, litterbox and seclusion as needed but also to prevent the dog from accessing the room while I'm dog sitting. Seems like it'll work a treat I will update this review as to whether or not it holds up to the cat sprinting into the door as he is known to do.

Good design! Only for thinner interior doors, would be nice if there was a way to have the outside plate be adjustable so it can fit all types of doors! 😉

Strong and durable I slightly adjusted the part that goes into the door frame so that it would fit correctly into the hole, but otherwise perfect

Thank you! I will release a v2 of both with minor changes. The area that slots into the door can certainly be smaller so it doesn't feel like a press fit. I also noticed an area that can crack under stress, which i will slightly reinforce as well.

Printed great and good design, but could this be modified to fit a thicker door? Maybe possibly have it adjustable would be ideal.

printed great, but my door opens the other way and it doesn’t line up. a mirror image would probably work great. I will try that from the desktop app

works great, better than the piece of paracord I'd been using. It was a little to wide for the door, but I used some leftover tpu I had laying around. perfect fit for the cats to get through, but not the dogs ;)

works as it should lmao not sure if it allows cat in the room and keeps 12 year dog from getting to the stairs but does its job I guess
