Description

This is a new extension for Gravitrax, well I haven't seen it so far although its quite simple.

What you also need:

  • Neodym Supermagnet ⌀ 10 x 5 mm
  • Marbles
  • 1.75mm filament as pin for the joint

Simply assemble the parts as shown in the video, though in this version, you only need some 1.75mm filament to use as the pin for the hinge.

Unfortunately, it doesn't lift sufficiently for the ball to drop I'm trying printing with a different filament now Perhaps it will work better

did you made it work with another filament?

It's not working quite smoothly, the ball doesn't lift the lever high enough and the held ball doesn't release

It's the same for me. I took a hairdryer and softened the hook in the middle to bend it slightly downwards in the middle. After that, it worked flawlessly

Unfortunately, it didn't work for me on the first try The loaded ball doesn't release I had to scale the lever's length so that the slope triggers approximately 1.5-2mm earlier Now it works perfectly, thanks

How exactly to scale? What magnetic strength do you use?
