Bambu Lab X1C/P1S Side Basket with Removable Hooks

 

Available Sizes:

  • Large Basket: 15 cm (L) x 7.5 cm (W) x 5 cm (H)
  • Small Basket: 7.5 cm (L) x 7.5 cm (W) x 5 cm (H)
  • XXL Basket: 25 cm (L) x 10 cm (W) x 5 cm (H) - doesn't fit with small and large basket

Hook Sizes:

  • Single-Level Hooks: 5 cm in length
  • Double-Level Hooks: 20 cm in length

Additional Information:

  • Reinforcement Hook: Extra hooks can be attached to the front of the basket to enhance structural integrity.
  • Inter-Basket Spacing: 10 cm gap between two baskets when mounted.

Assembly Notes:

  • No support structures or adhesives are required for assembly.

very handy and simple. eSUN PLA+ seems sufficient. 2 suggestions. Changed the hooks to gravity- held hooks with more clearance so the supports don't snap on removal (assumedly why it was necessary to print 5 instead of 2). And deeper baskets would be ideal. Maybe a basket fitting Yeather 2lb dessicant (slightly too big to fit). but a very helpful design. very grateful.

Oh and one other thing I just realised could be slightly improved somehow is the outer-side supports, cuz I realise I just put them on upside down... Now there's little bits sticking up over the top of the upper basket... I know, "measure twice, cut once" PEBKAC error. But maybe they don't need that extra bit of length anyway. Make them uniform on both ends cuz it actually doesn't matter if they reach the bottom of the lower basket. But hey, if you make new hook supports with extra clearance I'll happily test those as replacements for the ones I just stuffed up.

i think front hook doesn't have upside downside =..=, just make sure the top of the hook and the top of the basket is aligned when snap in.

I like this thing, but wish it was larger and built a little stronger. The clips that hang on the side of the machine are a little fragile.

how much larger you would like? i can make one, clips are detachable so replaceable easily.

I think 25 x 10 CM would be a good size. I also recommend making the clips thicker so they hold up better. Thanks much

Thank you for the boost, mate! However, I think the front hook is misplaced; it shouldn’t cross over the basket at the top.

Overall, a very lovely way to keep your 3d printer accessories and bits in one place. the first basket that I printed, the top layer turned out not as expected but then the second one was fine so I think that must of been something my end. A nice print and would definitely recommend! :)

No matter what you do it is 100% infill (rating print profile 2) However, it is such a great and useful print! (rating actual design 5)

Obviously, the infill goes in the empty spaces between the grid, where else would it be? 😂

It is designed in a way such that there is not sparse infill. It is all solid infill and top and bottom walls. I will try to optimize this print profile to get it to print faster. By the way, this is in no means a detriment to the actual product :) It is amazing and works great!
