Description

Model design for skr 1.3, 1.4, 1.4 turbo board because these boards have the same size, this is the rough frame to mount on the frame, you need a cover for this part i will upload later

created this design to mount a BIQU SKR 1.1 board to my AM8 / 2020 / 2040 printer.
it also fits the MKS GEN-L and the newly released SKR 1.3 board

hole distance = 101.85 x 76.10mm

mount the board with 4pcs M3x16mm screws and M3 nuts.
extrusion mounting holes are 6mm wide and 5mm deep for M5 screws (x8 or x10mm)

the spacers for the board are a bit high, but that serves the purpose of putting and maybe even fixing many of the longer cables behind the board, so the top side gets a bit tidier. :)

if you are currently planning your build I can highly recommend to give the very silent TMC2208 stepper drivers a try! (see the table below how I use them in my printers)

printerboarddrivers I usednotes
AM8SKR v1.1TMC2208 BIQU v2.0no UART, just standalone mode
HypercubeSKR v1.3TMC2208 FYSETC v1.2full UART with internal wiring, soldering a bridge on the stepsticks is required
