Description

Please Note:

  • A fully reworked model of the cutter - “Sailboat Series - Cutter (Remastered)” - is available for printing.

(Also featuring a better build guide)

-----------

A fully 3d printed model of the cutter sailboat type, based on designs during the 18th century.

The 3d model is semi-detailed and includes simplified rigging and sails.

Since there are a lot of small, fragile parts on the deck of the ship, removing the supports should be done carefully.

(I am aware of the issue of the rudder and handle breaking easily. Those issues are fixed in the reworked version)

---------

Build Guide:

Step 1: Carefully remove the supports on the main hull. Be especially cautious near the rudder and rudder-handle

Step 2: Take the rigging lines pull them through the small holes of the masts (Grouped below)

Step 3: You can either secure the rigging lines with small knots or just bending them. Excess material can be cut of (e.g. with scissors)

Step 4: Connects the horizontal mast parts to the mast and set it into the hole on the boat

Step 5: Finish the rigging (side)
