Description

NOTE: I printed this thing so many times to get the supports right, don't give me a bad rating if you decide to take the stl file and do your own supports. I highly recommend getting the 3mf file (or just click open in bambu) so that you can get all my support customizations. This thing was a huge pain to get the supports right.

  • Scale: 1:72
    • Resize to 72% for 1:100 size (untested print size though)
  • Vehicle: The Leichter Panzerspähwagen (German: "light armoured reconnaissance vehicle") was a series of light four-wheel drive armoured cars produced by Nazi Germany from 1935 to 1944.
  • WW2 era
  • I made the guns a bit bigger than actual scale, I found the turrets were breaking off super easily so I increased them which made them stable.
  • Infill: I used adaptive cubic, this is the best for using the least amount of filament while also being strong. (I pressed and squeezed my model to make sure it didn't break or warp at all, I love adaptive cubic)
  • Custom supports: As I said, I tested countless times to get the supports right, this one is super tricky and I kept having issues with the supports sticking or breaking pieces etc. But I got it just right. Obviously if you don't have a needle nose plier then you need one for taking off supports like this. Get one.
  • Side note, the turret will have some scoring on the back part that touches the plate, you just need to clean that up a bit. I might suggest increasing the turret 1 or 2 % to make it more snuggly fit in there but I figured you want to turn the turret so it being loose won't bother you. (mentioning incase it does)

Filament used in pics: eSUN Grey PLA+ https://amzn.to/4gpJqVp eSUN filament has been my favorite, make sure to use the correct filament config for whatever you use!

I spent so much time perfecting the supports on this, I hope you'll help me out with a boost if you like it. Thank you!
