Description

I ordered an AtomRC Gimbal and when it arrived it was a v2. I had no idea because they never even announced there was going to be a v2. Wll the new version slides in so it will not drop into a servo hole. That wasn't going to work for me so I measured and remixed the design a bit to work.

I still have not incorporated the quick disconnect plastic screw into the design and I want to move the holes to make it at least connect to the hatch with four screws;  add heat insert to all screws; and make an internal mounting plate for the underside of the hatch but that's a v2 thing.

For now it is just secured with two screws and you have to drill the quick disconnect plastic screw. It's really close to the current screws that secure it to the canopy but for a prototype it works.

I have included the step file so feel free to mod and play around with screw locations. Just list it as a remix so others can enjoy.

I printed in ABS and profile is for four mounts.

WIP so will update description with changes. *** You will need to resolder the connectors on the gimbal since the connector is now upside down****** Just reverse them. If you have two axis they just use one row for ground and one for power on the solder pad and header pads. Then S1; S2 are soldered on the pads.

v2 removed extra unneeded holes and added in pass through on both sides for plastic quick release screw. Will need to be drilled out to accommodate screw. I may post a v3 with larger hole and set up for heat insert
