Switching the color is easy. Twist apart the bottom and top halves of the light, remove the white insert and replace with the color of your choice. 

I recommend using translucent filaments, if you have them, for this. Pick the 1.4 mm profile if you do. You can also use opaque colors (pick the .84 mm profile) though in my experience the light color ends up looking softer and whiter. But maybe that's what you like!

 

There are three plates on each of the two print profiles:

  • Plate 1: Four filters in four colors. Use with an AMS to print four at a time. It's set to print by object, so you'll only switch colors once per object.
  • Plate 2: An optional holder that fits eight filters
  • Plate 3: A single filter, for printing the colors one at a time. Pick this option if you don't have an AMS.
