Description

Updated 9/19/2025 - Just updated the STL file to include the bottom screw hole. Can't believe I missed this! Thanks @wranger for pointing it out!

This model was originally on Printables where the creator posted his .step file for editing. It's been mixed a few times but as the smaller Max and Ultra Unifi models. This is for the Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber unit. It's a wall mount that can be positioned several ways. It also has the sides removed to allow for M.2 drive slot access and a filet for air flow. I like it because it's more flexible than others I have seen, and stays cooler. I'm not an aesthetics kind of guy when it comes to wall mounts for equipment, I just need it to fit and be adjustable, so remix as you see worthy.

The overhangs need supports. If you do auto supports, wait for some cool down before trying to remove them as they are tight.

The unit does sit a little loose in the slot, so if you want it tighter, scale it down to what you want. I've gone down 97% and it was scrapping the sides-tight. Center screw hole was more for positioning but use as you please.

I printed mine in PLA Tough (remember that from Bambu?). I allowed it to anneal for an hour. No issues after a few weeks on the wall. But, you may prefer to do it in PETG.

  • 20% gyroid infill
  • 3 walls
  • arachne wall generation
  • .20mm Standard on an A1

    Happy printing!

Thanks, but why only 4 stars? Something wrong with the model?

I needed the mount the other way around, with the ports pointing downwards rather than up. Ended up turning the router upside down, not ideal but works okay.

I'm not sure I understand the question. This model is for the Gateway Fiber. Are you saying it is not the correct size?

printed well.. Wonder if this can be printed with tree support instead of the snug support. it's not easy to remove 😀

Yep, it can. I did it & while the supports were much easier to remove, they left a lot of artifacts behind. Same as the snug, so if anyone finds a better way, please add the profile!

Printed fine. However, I noticed the stl version doesn't include one of the screw mounding holes.

5 stars because it does what it should 🤩 Only for my specific case mounting from the side horizontally would have worked better. I'm going to add support underneath and side and print it again ☺️ I'll update with a picture when I do

Do you have maybe the step file of this mount for me?

No, sorry I do not. I just took the STEP file from the original model posted on Printables and modified it in Studio so no STEP file created.
