D6x2 mm Round Magnet (20PCS) - CA004

Description

My kids and I have been loving this great little slide puzzle from GAN. It did come with a nice little storage bag, but it honestly wasn't great so I made this to keep everything safely together and easily accessible.

The case slides on with a friction fit and stays in place nicely. I also press fit some disc magnets into the lid to ensure that all the extra and not-in- use pieces stay securely in place so they won't spill and get lost while keeping everything as low profile as I could. There's also a cutout so that it can be charged while in the case.

I'm new to the 3D printing hobby and am self-learning Fusion. This is the first model I've created; if you try it out and have and suggestions or feedback please let me know!

The model you see in the pictures is printed in gray Bambu PETG HF.

The magnets are 6 mm x 2 mm neodymium disc magnets and you will need 20 of them. I included the Maker Lab link in the bill of materials, but I just used some that I gout off of AliExpress and they worked just fine.

If you don't have this puzzle but want to try it, just search “GAN WiSlide”. It's a super fun update on older slide puzzles like Rush Hour. It's well-made from GAN (a rubiks cube manufacturer). There's another similar one from GiiKER, but I tried them both and I like this one better. You can get it easily from Amazon, AliExpress, or specialty speed cube stores.

If you're wondering about the puzzle pieces in the picture, I didn't like the pieces that came with it. They were too boring and so I also designed some new ones with some quality of life improvements. They're still a work in progress but I'll post them too when they're done.

This fits my WiSlide perfect. Not too tight. Not too loose. If you ever feel like it, could you had a spot on the inside at the top of the case to store the charging cord?

I also printed my own pieces if you want the file.

thanks for the feedback. I made it pretty thin but there may be space for a spot for the charging cable. I’ll have to take a look at the file a bit closer.

Replying to @Willio :
I will print another one and see if I can just add a negative space at the top and see if I can fit a short charging cord. Nonetheless awesome print and design!

Nice work! But one question: What are your Bricks? They are not official are they?
