Cat (or Dog) of the Month plaque

Who's the good boy (or girl)??  Show everyone who's the good boy (or girl)! :)

This is a 215mm wide x 250mm tall ( 8.5" x 9.85" )  “Cat of the Month” or “Dog of the Month” (See raw files or additional print profiles for the dog version) plaque.  Holds a 4"x6" (102mm x 152mm) photo of your buddy, along with slide-ins for the month of the award in English only, and English & Spanish)

I've included the raw Fusion 360 and STEP files for those who may want to modify it for other languages or animals.

Colors are easily changed to suit your liking, simply choose a different color for each part.

• the plaque is split into 2 parts - the base and the lettering/frame parts.
• the months are split into 2 parts - the lettering and the base.

ASSEMBLY

Simply glue the U-shaped piece and the 2 straight pieces on the 3rd build plate in place to create retainers for the photo and the slide-ins.  I tried making it one solid piece and use supports, but even using PLA support material, it was too easy to rip the whole thing right off the base layer when trying to remove the supports, so this method worked better for me and was a faster print.

(This method also allows you to use a patterned build plate for a unique appearance, if you desire)

MOUNTING

I used command strips because it weighs next to nothing.
