Description
The globally popular character SpongeBob SquarePants, rendered here in a highly successful print. Monochrome and multicolor versions are available; the image shows an actual multicolor print.
Multicolor printing is more costly, but yields superior results. I chose multicolor printing to showcase the model's optimal appearance, and this model is of excellent quality. For those less concerned with cost, I strongly recommend multicolor printing. Naturally, monochrome printing offers a more budget-friendly option.
Printing is straightforward, and most supports are easily removed. However, flat-nosed pliers are essential for removing supports from the mouth; carefully insert the pliers into the mouth to sever the supports.
Defect Notice:
1. The eyebrows are somewhat brittle. I reviewed the slicing and found no issues, but the printed eyebrows may not be perfectly formed. Refer to my images for actual results.
2. I included vents at the top; however, due to the base-down printing orientation, supports completely fill these vents, preventing removal. Fortunately, this does not affect the appearance. I recommend leaving the top supports in place; attempting removal could result in an unsightly finish.
Provided the aforementioned minor imperfections are acceptable, this model is well worth printing.
