Description

As is the case for many others, our family's Fisker Ocean unfortunately has had the passenger taco tray obstructed from fully closing due to a blower motor unit falling behind the tray assembly within the dash. I understand several have solved this problem by disassembling the dash partially to access the tray from the back, however, our family was uncomfortable with disassembling the dash ourselves, at least in the short term. As a temporary solution until this can be properly fixed, I modelled and 3D printed a small, easily removable/attachable clamp to hold the tray in position. The clamp slides into place on the left side of the taco tray and is held using the spring force of the tray. I have attached photos showing the printed clamp, a picture if it installed, a picture of the tray without it installed, and a wide-angle view of the passenger area with it installed. If this would be helpful to anyone, you can find the manufacturing, .STEP, and SolidWorks files listed here for you to print yourself for free. The model is relatively filament-efficient at around 20g, and takes around an hour to print with the profile I used, but feel free to revise. Thanks!
