Description

This is an adapter for the Autopot 4 pot system to allow you to use any fabric pot for water wicking. This is great if you want to use the benefits of autopots with different pots vs the plastic ones that come with the system. You can see them from the video below! So honest question? where does the gold layer go so roots don’t grow past? in the fabric pot or I see another grower put it under the 3d printed part?

With the base we didnt have issues with roots growing out of the pot down into the system. you could lay a root mat ontop if you are seeing roots trying to grow past the base into the bottom, but since there is a big air gap they usually will not grow beyond.

Would this still cover the whole pot if it was reduced to 220mm X 220mm

I am unsure you would have to measure the opening on the base, you would want overlap for stability.

Just finished up a set of these in ABS, planning on using them with 3gal fabric pots on my next run. What's the most efficient wat to run the wicking rope and is there a particular brand you guys favor?
