Modern 3d printed stool
Print Profile(0)
Description
A fashionable stool fabricated with 3D printed parts in addition to 24 wooden 1/2" dowels (55cm long).
To assemble the entire stool, you will need:
3x Bottom pieces
3x Top pieces
1x Center piece
6x Attachment pieces
24x M3 screws for the attachment pieces
3x 3cm diameter floor pads
The top is a wood plaque cut into a circle, however, it can be whatever shape or material you would like!
I have tested and printed the stool as seen in the pictures. I am able to sit on it and supports 80kgs without any problem. The 3D parts are printed with 10% hexagon infill and 2 walls, nothing crazy.
However, the wood dowels that are available in Canada are pretty bad tolerance wise which is why the holes for dowels are significantly larger in the model (13.25mm). I am therefore providing the f3d file for fusion. In the file, there are two pipe features called MODIFY_THIS_1 and MODIFY_THIS_2. Simply change the diameter required on these two in order to suit your needs. If using significantly smaller dowels, I would recommend just scaling the whole stool, as it kind of ruins the design proportions wise.
