Description

This subwoofer enclosure was designed to accommodate two Dayton Audio TCP115-4 midbass woofers. My goal was to create a box that could 1) be entirely 3D printed, 2) be used in a vertical or horizontal configuration (this now lives under my couch where it is out of sight), 3) play low and loud.

As you can see from the WinISD graph, the box configuration should be able to hit frequencies as low as 42Hz. I don't have a way to confirm performance, but to my ears it sounds surprisingly good.

Gyroid pattern at 20% infill seems to produce good results, where the box is ridged while print times are not terribly egregious.

Parts 1-3 all interlock. Parts 4 and 5 are joined together before being added to the whole. Glue in all joints and you're all set.

Included is a file if you want to add feet for the box while in the horizontal position. Not critical for the performance of the box but I thought they looked niced when included.
