Description

Protect your iPod classic 5th generation thin (30gb) or thick (60gb/80gb) with a custom hard case - without the need of TPU.

There are two variants for each size: a minimal design with the front faceplate fully uncovered, and a second option which provides faceplate coverage for added protection.

Features (both designs):

  • Precise Fit: This case is designed for a snug and secure fit. If you feel the case is too tight, print the model at 100.3% scale for a slightly less snug fit.
  • Material Choice: Tested using PETG & PLA filament. Both are excellent choices, but PETG tends to produce higher quality prints from my experimentation.
  • 3mf File: Contains all six cases options: covered for both the thin and thick models, uncovered for both the thick and thin models with and without the Apple logo on the back. Slice and print your desired model.

Features (minimal design):

  • Case Design: This is a minimalist case providing added confidence when using you iPod. The back includes an Apple logo centered over the Apple logo on the iPod back case. There are also case options that do not include the Apple logo. Also included is a small cutout over the iPod model size (30gb/60gb/80gb).
  • Use: To put the case on, insert the iPod top first, and press the bottom of the iPod to seat it snugly. To remove, utilize the small cutout over the model size on the back to push the iPod out bottom-first.

Features (covered design):

  • Case Design: This case provides added protection and confidence when using you iPod. The back is completely covered to further enhanced protection.
  • Use: To put the case on, simply insert the iPod from the top of the case. To remove, gently push the iPod out from the 30 pin connector cutout.
  • Printing Notes: Please print these cases in the orientation in the provided 3mf file. Supports are required, and are easy to remove per the 3mf file settings.
