Description
Warning! Do not carry the stack by holding onto the topmost cage. The weight of the HDD below may cause the cage to detach itself.
Update 16 Nov 2025: Significant changes have been made for V2. It is now thicker and printed vertically to reduce breakage significantly. (It will still break if you really really want it to) It can be used interchangeably with earlier versions.
Update 21 Jul 2025: Minor changes (v1.1) to the design to alleviate issues of the top cage sinking into the bottom cage and the catch breaking off. It will reduce the occurrence, but is unlikely to resolve it completely. It can be used together with the earlier version.
Stackable HDD cage; print more when needed.
- Toolless, it clips onto the side threaded holes of the HDD/SSD
- Minimum contact between HDD/SSD and the cage. (for better vibration isolation and heat dissipation)
- Carry the HDD with the cage for some protection from bumps.
- Rearrange the order of your stack easily.
- Labels are viewable with the cage clipped on.
- Designed for up to 9.5mm thick HDD/SSDs.
- Ample space to fit most USB to SATA cables.
