Description
Problem Solved:
"Intel N5105-powered Mini PCs often reach critical temperatures under heavy workloads (e.g., gaming emulation, multitasking, or server use), leading to thermal throttling and instability. This cooling box solves the issue with:
- Active cooling via a Noctua NF-S12A PWM fan.
- Smart thermal control that adjusts fan speed based on CPU temperature.
- Compact design that preserves the Mini PC’s minimalist aesthetics."
Key Features:
- Optimized Airflow Efficiency:
- Top air intake + front/rear exhaust at the base for ideal circulation.
- Noctua NF-S12A PWM fan (120mm, 18.6 dB(A) for quiet operation.
- Advanced Thermal Control Circuit:
- Power supply: External 12V DC (compatible with 8-18V sources).
- Temperature sensor: NTC 50K probe (B=3950) with a black head (supports up to 120°C).
- Automatic adjustment: Fan speed ramps from 20% to 100% based on temperature (default: acceleration starts at 30°C).
- Safety: Max 3A current draw (suitable for standard fans).
- Compatibility & Easy Installation:
- Box dimensions: 141mm x 147mm x 39mm (fits N5105 Mini PCs of similar size).
- No permanent modifications: Uses screws included with the Noctua fan.
- Port accessibility: USB/HDMI ports remain unobstructed.
- 3D Printing Flexibility:
- Tested filament: Bambu Lab PLA CF (rigid and heat-resistant).
- Alternatives: Any filament (PLA, PETG, ABS) based on user preference.
