3D Printed Incense Burner: A Fusion of Tradition and Technology
In this 3D printing competition, I present this unique incense burner, a perfect blend of traditional Zen culture and modern 3D printing technology.
The incense burner consists of two parts. First, the black tray, meticulously 3D printed to simulate a natural, layered texture. It resembles an antique scroll, exuding a calm and reserved aura.
Paired with it is a simple yet elegant red ring. One side is engraved with the character “禅” (Zen), its strong strokes conveying a serene atmosphere; the other side bears the character “境” (Realm), evoking a sense of transcendence.
When the incense is lit, the gentle smoke creates a tranquil space amidst the bustle of modern life.
This incense burner is not merely a practical item but also an artistic creation that invites inner peace and appreciation for traditional culture. Using 3D printing as its medium, it vividly showcases traditional Zen culture, with every detail demonstrating a profound fusion of technology and humanity, providing users with a unique sensory experience.
Postscript: This model uses standard 3D printed incense sticks, 21cm in length and 1.6mm in diameter.
When not burning incense, it can be used as an ornament.
