Bill of Materials
- Chip x 1:
Description
These days, our daily lives are more and more reliant on cloud connectivity. But even though cloud storage is getting more popular and accessible, the USB flash drive is still widely used. That's because they're portable, easy to use, and don't depend on an internet connection, which can often be unstable or nonexistent.
These devices are often carried in pockets, bags, or backpacks, which increases the risk of them being forgotten or left in public places. To prevent such mishaps, it's important to think of creative ways to integrate the device into the user's daily life, giving it some symbolism rather than just being another object.
The proposed solution, with a design inspired by a key, aims to make it easier to use and minimize the risk of loss while providing a safer and more practical experience.
(Excerpt from the study that led to this model!… :D)

Printing and assembly:
The body is divided into two parts to be joined with super glue (don't use too much).
The Keydrive was developed to support a mini USB flash drive chip.
Size: 15.5mm x 11mm x 1.5mm (you'll need to get one before assembling the whole thing).
The cap should be inserted last, after joining the upper and lower parts. You might need to carefully force the side tabs a bit to avoid breaking them.

Hope you have fun with the Keydrive!
Please, suggestions and advice are welcome!
