Introduction

To prevent injury from kite strings during cycling, I searched for many cutters but was dissatisfied with their appearance, so I designed my own.

This is a bottom-mounted blade, replaceable blade version; simply adhere it to the front windshield.

  • Use 1mm thick 3M adhesive for mounting (only adhere to the blade holder, please apply the 3M adhesive first, complete the cutting, and then assemble the whole unit)

  • Use 2 M3 (8mm-16mm length) screws to fasten the top cover
  • Uses 11# carving blades or 18mm utility blades

Why Use 3M Adhesive?

  1. Drilling holes in the windshield for installation is quite troublesome.
  2. Using a clamp, I am concerned it may not be secure enough and might be dragged away by the kite string.
  3. Therefore, 3M adhesive is employed; testing has shown it to be sufficiently secure.

Regarding Supports

The 0.1 support configured for the blade holder is more difficult to remove, but achieves a very good planar effect. If you are concerned about difficult removal, please use the regular support configuration; however, the planar effect of the support surface will be inferior.
