Final Update - 29.01.2026

Hello everyone, this will probably be the last update for this model. I plan to make a new Instax model in the future. but don't wait for it.

- The rounded corner of the film that comes out of the Instax has been removed. Now it's easier to cut your photo to fit the film (please let me know if you want the previous model back).
- The multi-color option has been optimized, further preventing color bleeding (thanks @BAMBY for pointing out this problem).
- A plate with a contour layout has been added for easier cutout of the photo that goes inside the film (thanks to @Skyybabyy).

Update 24.01.2026 - GOOD NEWS!!

- Push mechanism has been made even thicker and tweaked.
- Slide/lock film was furtherrefined.
- The lever mechanism was redesigned; the small circle where the lever was placed was removed and moved to the lever mechanism instead, and a hole was added in its place to accommodate it, preventing the piece from breaking. 

I invite everyone to test the new mechanism, which is much more reliable.

Firstly, thank you for downloading my model, I trully appreciate your support.

I've been receiveing good feedback about my mini instax keychain model, and after a few months I want to release this new update which should fix a few issues you guys were having since my last update V2.

V3 update includes:

- Better ironing settings
- Push mechanism has been made thicker, so it shouldn't break easily.
- Slide/lock mechanism for the film was refined. You shouldn't need to adjust scale of the cartbridge anymore (if your printer is already fine-tuned).
- Middle section and top section have now an insert mechanism, this should make it easier to fit these two parts together.
- AMS settings have been improved even more. No color bleeding should be visible anymore.

Thanks so much for all the support on my Instax Mini model! ❤️ I’ve made some improvements to make it look even better:

- Fixed the colour bleeding between the white and black filaments – the front cover now looks perfect!
- Added ironing to the top and back covers for a smoother, cleaner finish.
- Used variable layer height for an even more refined look.
- Plus a few minor tweaks and fixes here and there.

This adorable keychain/fidget is a miniature of the Instax Mini 12. It features a functional button that pushes out the film, letting you place a small picture inside—perfect for a heartfelt gift or to keep your loved ones close wherever you go.

Designed for easy printing, this model can be made with or without AMS.

Additional Materials Needed

• Super-glue
• A picture (Dimensions: 24x32mm)

How to Assemble:

Step 1

Start by placing the pieces as shown in the image.

Step 2

Insert the cut picture into the film. You can use super-glue to hold it in place.

Step 3

Apply a thin layer of super-glue on the red-highlighted areas, avoiding the inside or walls of the model.

Step 4

Hold it firmly for about 30 seconds, then turn the model around and super-glue the other side.
