Description
I designed this model simply to have something homemade. I made four models before arriving at the one published.
It is height-adjustable by approximately 5cm; the additional plate allows the shifter to be moved further back towards the driver. I haven't tried it, but it should be possible to add a second plate to move it back further, though I don't know what the rigidity will be like.
Regarding rigidity, printed with the provided profile, it doesn't budge a millimeter. While it won't be as strong as metal, I think you'd have to really try to break it.
Printed in PLA + simply.
You will need M8x120 screws with nuts and washers. Personally, I bought them from Merlin l'enchanteur in a box of 10 for 7 or 8 euros. You will also need a few screws, nuts, and washers to attach the shifter and the extension plate. 20mm screws are suitable for the Fanatec shifter.
I've also added M8 nut covers to prevent scratching yourself on the screw heads.
I haven't been able to test it, but I've included the mounting hole patterns for the Thrustmaster TH8, using dimensions from their website. You can check if it fits.
